Transkaroo Chenin Blanc 2009

Bold, complex and not at all bashful. The bouquet bombards one with dried apricot and peach, coconut shavings, ripe pineapple, banana custard, fresh cream, peach-pip and spice.

The palate is full, rich and ripe with an underlying minerality which lingers long after the last sip.

Produced in a true Swartland ”old school”-style and aged for 12 months in a combination of seasoned French, Hungarian and American oak 500L barrels.
